💋 Merripause Returns, Refunds & Reality Checks

At Merripause, we’re here for a good time and a long time — and that includes your order.

If something’s not quite right, don’t worry. We’ve got you.


Your rights (the important but necessary bit)

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under Australian Consumer Law.

That means:

  • You’re entitled to a refund or replacement for a major failure
  • You’re entitled to repair, replacement or refund if a product isn’t of acceptable quality
  • You may also be entitled to compensation for reasonably foreseeable loss or damage

No drama. No awkward conversations.


1-Year Limited Warranty

All Merripause products come with a 1-year warranty from the date of purchase, covering defects in materials and workmanship under normal use.

What’s covered

  • Manufacturing defects affecting function
  • Electrical or mechanical faults under normal use
  • Charging faults (when using approved cables and chargers)

What’s not covered

  • Misuse, accidents, or neglect
  • Normal wear and tear (including cosmetic changes)
  • Damage from non-approved accessories, chargers or lubricants
  • Products that have been opened, modified or tampered with beyond normal use
  • Loss or theft
  • Water damage beyond the product’s stated rating

How to make a claim

To lodge a warranty or product issue claim, email us at admin@merripause.com.au with:

  • Proof of purchase (order confirmation or receipt)
  • A description of the issue
  • Photos or video where possible

We’ll respond within 2 business days and sort it quickly.


What we’ll do

Depending on the issue, we’ll offer:

  • A repair
  • A replacement
  • A refund

For minor issues, we may repair first.
For major failures, you choose the outcome.


Change of mind (we’ve all been there)

Ordered in a moment of main character energy but having second thoughts?

We accept returns within 14 days of delivery if:

  • The item is unused, unworn and in original condition
  • Tags and packaging are intact
  • Personal products remain sealed and unopened
  • We cannot accept returns for change of mind on custom products (unless faulty)

Return shipping is at your cost.


Hygiene matters (especially for Eau de Cli)

For hygiene reasons, we cannot accept change-of-mind returns on opened or used personal products.

Unopened products in original sealed packaging can be returned within 14 days.

This does not affect your rights under Australian Consumer Law.
If a product is faulty, you’re still entitled to a remedy.


Faulty, damaged or incorrect items

If your item:

  • Arrives damaged
  • Isn’t what you ordered
  • Isn’t up to standard

Email us within 7 days of receiving it with:

  • Your order number
  • A quick photo of the issue

We’ll sort it with a repair, replacement or refund — fast.

 

Consumer guarantee duration

Your rights under Australian Consumer Law may extend beyond the 1-year warranty depending on the product and expected lifespan.

If something doesn’t feel right, even outside the warranty period, reach out.
